Do I need to prepare the ground or dig a hole for the pool?
The pool should be set up on level ground, free of rocks, branches, other objects, and holes. Do not install the pool on sand; this can cause shifting under the water and will void your warranty. You don't need to dig a hole or otherwise prepare the ground. If you require an extra layer of protection between the ground and pool liner because of ground conditions, we recommend using a pool ground cloth.
