IMPORTANT! The Filter Pump is protected by a thermal switch, a safety device that stops the pump from running when it is overheated, to prevent damage to the pump and prolong its service life.

If your pump turns off automatically, it is likely that the pool water temperature is too high or the water flow through the pump is insufficient for cooling down the pump.

Check and correct the water flow, and let the motor cool down for at least 15 minutes. The pump will restart after the motor is completely cooled down. You could also operate the pump at night when the temperature is lower.

Timer --If the display screen of the GFCI plug shows "0", press the "SET" button to restart the pump. The timer settings will need to be reset. If the pump turns off automatically again, inspect if the rotor is damaged or is blocked by debris/dirt.

• Water will accumulate on the pool cover and weigh it down when it rains.

• Standing water on top of the cover can make it nearly impossible to remove.

In the manufacturing process, a patch may be added at the factory. It is not a defect in the material and does not warrant a warranty claim.

Contact a qualified, licensed Electrician to install the necessary connection for your filter pump. You may also use an extension cord that meets the following criteria:

• Extension cords must be 3-prong

• Extension cord must be 16, 14, 12, or 10 Gauge. DO NOT use 18 or 20 Gauge

With regular filter pump use, you will not need to change the water.

The cartridge should be replaced every two weeks. I run the filter pump regularly, but my pool water has become cloudy or green. We strongly advise the use of pool treatment additives to prevent algae and bacteria growth.

Drain and dry the pool before storage to prevent mold from growing. Store in a dry area where the temperature does not fall below 0 degrees Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

The pool should be set up on level ground, free of rocks, branches, objects, and holes. Do not install the pool on sand; this can cause shifting under the water and will void your warranty. There is no need to dig a hole or otherwise prepare the ground. The pool must be assembled and set on a smooth, level site of firm soil. Before setting up your pool, clear the area of hardy grasses. Certain types of vigorous grasses, such as St. Augustine and Bermuda, can grow through the liner. If you require an extra layer of protection between the ground and pool liner because of ground conditions, we recommend using a Polypool® ground cloth.

The Ladder should be set up on solid-level ground free of rocks, branches, objects, and holes. The ladder weight limit is 330 LBS (150 kg). The ladder should be set up per the manufacturer’s instructions. Refer to the product manual for specific steps. Ladder steps are marked with a R (right step) and a L (Left Step) to help with installation. Remove and secure the ladder when the pool is not occupied.
