How do I set up my pool site?

Set up the pool on level ground, free of rocks, branches, objects, and holes. Do not install the pool on sand; it can shift under the water and will void your warranty. You do not need to dig a hole or otherwise prepare the ground. The pool must be assembled and set on a smooth, level site of firm soil. Before setting up your pool, clear the area of hardy grasses. Certain types of vigorous grasses, such as St. Augustine and Bermuda, can grow through the liner. If you require an extra layer of protection between the ground and pool liner because of ground conditions, we recommend using a Polygroup ground cloth.
