SQUARE OPENING TO ROUND OPENING ADAPTER KIT

This adapter kit allows the consumer to convert their liner from a Square Opening (for SFS) to a Round Opening (for SFX).
This plastic adapter / converter can only be used to change a Square opening in a pool liner to become a Round opening as it will not work in reverse fashion.

Please follow the steps below to attach the product. Installation to the pool wall first does not work.

1. Install Rubber Seal onto Skimmer Canister. Only use the Seal that came with this kit. The ones that come with the canisters for SFS & SFX are different. Make sure the rubber Seal aligns tightly with the flat surface.
2. Assembling the adapter onto canister:

A) Separate the top of Skimmer Adapter
B) Place on rubber Seal making sure it is evenly aligned all the way around.
C) Make sure it is completely covering the seal and that the threads of the adapter are aligned with the canister threads.
D) Tighten the screws so that no gap is seen between both sides of the adapter at the top.
!!) Make sure this screw connection is tight; as this will be what is holding up the canister to the pool.
Be careful not to over-tighten or crack the canister.
!!) There should be no rubber seal visible between the Adapter and the canister if it is correctly applied.

3. Assemble the finished adapted canister to the pool wall using the square gasket and face plate with the screws. (The same way as their old SFS was mounted originally)
!!) The face plate and square gasket can be attached incorrectly- make sure the square gasket notches are aligned at the bottom, and that the writing on the faceplate is right side up and is readable on the inside of the pool wall before screwing these together to the pool.
