Our Salt Water System by Polygroup is a conveniently compact unit that features a touch controller and offers advanced Eco-friendly technology to keep your pool water clean throughout the season.
This innovative system utilizes natural salt to keep the pool water chlorinated instead of harmful and irritating loose and direct chlorine, to effectively sanitize and safely filter your pool water.

Using natural salt can help reduce red, burning, dry, or irritated eyes and skin and fading or staining of swimming apparel and toys.
For Above Ground Pools up to 7,000 gallon Capacity. (This unit cannot produce enough chlorine for pools larger than this)
A Separate pool filtration pump is needed to drive the water and function properly. (Sold separately) This system is compatible with pumps with a Flow Rate minimum of 600 gallons and and up to 4,000 gallons per hour.
2 Universal Adapters are included but may not be needed to connect to pump system.
Timer Functions: 12 Hours preset for Normal mode - adjustable in 2 Hour increments for Boost mode.

- Test strips for salt level not included.
- IMPORTANT: Salt level is not equal to chlorine level; to maintain a healthy pool, regularly check that the chlorine level stays at 0.5-3.0 ppm by utilizing chlorine test strips.
- We recommend testing the water chemistry weekly and maintaining the chlorine levels between at 0.5 - 3.0 ppm and pH levels between 7.2 - 7.8.
- IMPORTANT: Always follow the directions that are included with the test strips you are using as Chlorine will dissipate and leave the pool unprotected without free chlorine in several hours. Please Add chlorine stabilizer.
- Use only sodium chloride (NaCI) salt that is at least 99.8% pure. Not using the correct Salt affects the performance and life of the salt system.
- Optimum salt levels: The ideal salt level in the pool water is between 2500-3500 ppm (parts per million). The optimal level is 3000ppm.
- DO NOT use iodized or yellow colored salt (yellow prussiate of soda)
- The Salt Water system must be installed as the last piece of pool equipment in the water return line to the pool.
- Extension cord can be used if it has: A 3 pin AC power cord, is AC 125V/ Amps 15A, is ETL approved, and is a Heavy Duty Cord for Indoor/Outdoor Use
- No separate Chlorine needed.
- Please note you may need additional chemicals check with your local pool store for water testing.
